Information obtained through participatory research is needed as materials development programs, including tourism development. The purpose of this paper to introduce programs that adequate with community needs and provide long-term benefits. PRA methods consists the mapping and the preparation of institutional diagrams. The advantages of PRA methods to give more solution from limited data problem and give information for tourism development plan. The weaknesses, such as lack of a facilitator in the PRA activities or lack the implementation of time management, there's no coherent among the various actors in the tourism field yet. So, this can be handled by taking various trial application of PRA in the research. PRA can be used as a method of community based tourism in the process of regional tourism development. |
