In recent days, the world leaders and the most people of the Republic of Indonesia need look no further than the world's energy crisis, global warming, and food security. The risk scenarios include the increasing of world population demands for higher standard of living, a need for less pollution and a low carbon economy, a need to avert global warming, and a possible end to fossil fuels. For poor people, the rising basic foods price and oils means the quality and quantity of nutrition are at risk. To response the crises, we should build the agriculture research stations to develop more varieties that could be used to produce the high quality of milk, crops, agriculture research, extension of agriculture, to provide semen for Indonesian farmers, and to adopt and develop Agro-ecosystem Analysis and farming system research to gain more holistic view of agriculture and to help scientists understand the problem faced by farmers and even give farmers a role in the development process in NKRI …. |
