ABSTRAK Selama ini distribusi hewan ternak menggunakan transportasi darat maupun laut. Truck sebagai tansportasi darat masih kurang memadai untuk distibusi ternak termasuk kapal sebagai transportasi laut juga kurang memadai karena alat transportasi tersebut tidak mempunyai fasilitas, infrastruktur, serta perlakuan tehadap hewan yang kurang layak. Karena pendistribusian yang kurang layak menimbulkan stress serta penurunan berat badan pada hewan ternak. Pada skripsi ini, dilakukan penganalisisan kelayakan pada pengadaan kapal ternak atau liivestock carrier agar dapat menjadi alternatif transpotasi distribusi hewan ternak. Yang termasuk didalamnya adalah investasi, biaya operasional, dan biaya pemasukan atau penghasilan. Hasil analisis kelayakan dikatakan layak karena Net Present Value > 0 dan Profitabilty Index > 1 dengan break event point terjadi pada 3,83 tahun dan pada trip ke 148 atau pelayaran ke 296. That is including investment, operating costs, and the cost of revenue or earnings. The results of the feasibility analysis is said to be feasible because Net Present Value > 0 and Profitability Index > 1 with break event point occurred at 3.83 years and on a trip to 148 or 296 cruises. |
