ABSTRAK Proses penuaan akan dialami oleh sebagian besar orang. Menuju proses tersebut akan terjadi perubahan psikologis dan perubahan fisik pada lansia (lanjut usia). Hal ini akan berdampak pada perubahan tempat tinggal lansia. Contohnya dari rumahnya kemudian tinggal ke rumah anaknya atau dari rumahnya tinggal di panti jompo, tentu akan ada perbedaan yang terjadi di dalamnya. Dalam proses perubahan yang dialami, lansia harus beradaptasi dengan tempat baru untuk mencari sebuah tempat yang memberikan kelekatan yang membuatnya merasa aman dan nyaman. Ketika mencari tempat tersebut, ada tahapan yang harus dialami lansia atau place process. Dalam proses ini lansia akan memaknai sebuah tempat melalui proses interaksi hingga intensifikasi untuk mendapatkan tempat yang memberikan kelekatan. Setelah dicari dan diketahui prosesnya melalui studi kasus di Panti Werdha Yayasan Usaha Mulia Jaya, umumnya lansia di panti telah memiliki tempat yang lekat dengan jenis tempat yang berbeda. ABSTRACT The process of aging will be experienced by most people. The process will happen with change of psychological and physical changes in old age. This impact will change residence for the old people. In old age , how old people perceive home with their residence changed. For example from their house and then stay in their children home. Of course there will be happening inside the difference. In the process of the changes for the old people, they must adapt to a new place to find a place that gives attachment that make them feel safe and comfortable. When they are find a place , there is the phase that must be experienced and find the place process for the old people. In this process for the old people in home and retirement communities, they have a place attachment from place processes. |
