ABSTRAK Sarana angkutan umum di Kota Bogor bermula dari Becak, delman dan bemo. Ketiganya menjadi kendaraan penghubung dengan stasiun kereta dan pusat perdagangan. Namun, masyarakat lebih memilih bemo karena dapat melaju lebih cepat. Oleh karenanya, Pemerintah Kota untuk pertama kalinya menetapkan beberapa trayek bemo pada 1982 di pusat Kota Bogor. Minat masyarakat terhadap bemo mulai berkurang setelah peremajaan bemo menjadi angkot (angkutan kota), karena angkot memiliki kapasitas penumpang yang lebih banyak dari bemo. Setelah itu, Pemerintah Kota juga mulai menetapkan rute trayek angkutan umum yang meluas ke wilayah pinggiran kota pada 1994 dan di dominasi oleh kendaraan angkot. ABSTRAK Public transport in City of Bogor began from pedicab, horse cart and mobile. The three, became the feeder transport of train station and trading center. But, the trimobile was chosen by people interest because they can run faster. Therefore, the City Government for the first created the routes of trimobile on 1982 in the central of the city. The people interest about trimobile began to decrease after the replacement of trimobile to public-car, because their capacity are larger than trimobile. After that, the City Government also began to create the routes of public transport extends to side area of the city on 1994 and the routes was dominated by public-car. |
