Abstract
ABSTRAK
Semakin berkembang dan terbukanya sistem keuangan, memicu munculnya berbagai jenis produk keuangan seperti produk-produk investasi. Hadirnya produk-produk investasi tidak diimbangi dengan pemahaman masyarakat akan produk-produk investasi tersebut, sehingga beberapa pihak menyalahgunakan kesempatan tersebut untuk melakukan tindak kejahatan yang merugikan masyarakan melalui penawaran skema penipuan investasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Difusi (Diffusion Theory) dan Teori Kontrol Diri (Self- Control Theory) serta pendekatan kualitatif dengan memakai studi literatur dan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam penawaran skema penipuan investasi, pelaku menggunakan modus difusi/ penawaran skema investasi & memanfaatkan lemahnya kontrol diri investor untuk mempengaruhi calon investor agar yakin serta mau berinvestasi pada skema investasi yang ditawarkan oleh pelaku
ABSTRACT
The growing and opening of the financial system, triggered the emergence of various types of financial products such as investment products. The presence of investment products are unequal with the community's understanding of those investment products, so it lends to the opportunity to commit crimes that harm the community through marketing of the investment fraud scheme. This study apply Diffusion Theory and Self-Control Theory with qualitative approach to study of literature and in-depth interviews. This study found that in marketing of investment fraud scheme, the perpetrator uses diffusion-modus or marketing of investment scheme and exploit the low self-control of investor to influence prospective investors to convince and want to invest in the investment scheme that offered by the offender
