Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi usia, jenis kelamin, dan pendidikan dewan eksekutif terhadap risiko portofolio bank. Penelitian ini menggunakan 32 sampel bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan periode 2011-2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko portofolio bank dapat dipengaruhi oleh usia dewan eksekutif. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini.Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa usia dewan eksekutif berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap risiko portofolio bank. Sedangkan kehadiran dewan eksekutif wanita tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap risiko portofolio bank. Selain itu, pendidikan dewan eksekutif juga tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap risiko portofolio bank. This objective of this research to examine the effect of age composition, gender, and education of the executive board on bank portfolio risk. This study uses a sample of 32 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2013. This study argues that the bank portfolio risk could be influenced by the age of the executive board. Analysis of regression is used to test the hypothesis in this study.The result of this research give evidence that the age of the executive board significantly negative effect on bank portfolio risk. Whereas the presence of female executive board does not significantly effect on bank portfolio risk. In addition, the executive board of education did not significantly effect on bank portfolio risk. |
