| [Skripsi ini membahas self-determination sebagai dasar pelaksanaan referendum Falkland Islands 2013. Penelitian ini mengangkat isu self-determination, termasuk definisi referendum secara umum. Skripsi ini menjelaskan status hukum Falkland Islands dan menganalisis legalitas referendum itu sendiri dalam hukum internasional. Sifat penelitian ini berfokus pada keabsahan pelaksanaan referendum Falkland Islands, melalui hak self-determination yang tercantum dalam instrumen hukum internasional, termasuk juga batasan-batasannya. Hasilnya, skripsi ini menyimpulkan bahwa beberapa aspek dari referendum Falkland Islands 2013 tidak sesuai dengan hukum internasional., This research discusses self-determination as an underlying cause of the Falkland Islands’ referendum in 2013. This research raises the issue of self-determination, including its broad definition, then explains the legal status of Falkland Islands in international law. Lastly, this research analyzes the legality of the referendum itself in regards to international law. The nature of this research focuses on the legality of the Falkland Islands’ referendum, through the exercise of the right to self-determination enshrined in international law instruments, including its limitations. As a result, this research concludes that some aspects of the Falkland Islands’ referendum is not in accordance with international law.] |
