Abstract
ABSTRAK
The focus of this research is to analyze the the use of Active and Passive Form in the translation News Text Prabowo : Ein Geist Namens Vergangenheit. The purpose of this study is to find out, how far a transposition of passive form to active form and vice versa during the translation process of the source text to target text could affect the discourse and meaning of a text. The text is analyzed using semantic and syntax approach, as well as critical discourse analysis to reveal the discourse that is contained in both source text and target text.

In dieser vorliegenden Arbeit geht es um die Analyse der Wahl von Aktiv und Passiv in der Übersetzung Berichttext Prabowo : Ein Geist Namens Vergangenheit. Das Ziel der Arbeit ist, um zu behaupten, wie ist die Wirkung der Transposition von Passiv- zu Aktivform und vice versa zu der Botschaft im Zieltext im Vergleich zu der des Ausgangstextes. Die Texte werden anhand der syntaktischen und semantischen Theorie, sowie die der kritischen Diskursanalyse, analysiert, um doe Texte kritisch zu analysieren
