ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang layanan penyebaran informasi terbaru dan terseleksi (PITT) berbasis online di Perpustakaan Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) dengan website perpustakaan BIG sebagai media penyebaran informasinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan layanan PITT ini oleh perngguna potensial BIG, dan kendala pengguna dalam menggunakan layanantersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dalam pengumpulandata. Populasinya adalah seluruh pegawai BIG yang membutuhkan dan menggunakan informasi geospasial dalam pekerjaan mereka. Sampel yang diambil 73 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel acak berlapis. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan pengguna potensial Perpustakaan BIG cukup mengetahui dan pernah menggunakan layanan PITT berbasis online ini dan tidak terdapat kendala yang dihadapi pengguna dalam menggunakan layanan ini. ABSTRACT This research discusses about the current awareness service and the selective dissemination of Information online based at Geospatial Information InstitutionLibrary (BIG) by its own website as dissemination of Information. The purpose of this research is to understand the current awareness service and the selective dissemination of Information online based usage by BIG Library potential users and user obstacles in using that service. This research applies descriptive research method with quantitative approximation method, survey method and using questionnaires to collect data. The population is all of the BIG employees who need and use the geospatial information for their works. The sample of this research is 73 respondents with stratified random sampling. The result of this research shows that the potential BIG users know it well and have ever used this current awareness service and the selective dissemination of Information online based at Geospatial Information Institution Library (BIG) and there is no obstacle that faced by the users in using this service. |
