Abstract
ABSTRAK
Humor sering digunakan dan erat kaitannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Humor juga ditemukan pada karya sastra. Hal ini mengacu pada pernyataan bahwa ?sastra adalah cerminan kehidupan?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana humor digunakan dalam karya sastra dan juga apa saja teknik dan penyebab terjadinya humor dalam karya sastra. Selain itu, penulis juga melihat keterkaitan antara humor dan karya sastra populer. Pada akhirnya novel ini termasuk ke dalam karya sastra populer karena terkandung beberapa ciri seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Kaplan. Novel ini juga mengandung unsur humor jika dilihat dari teknik dan penyebab terjadinya humor tersebut.
ABSTRACT
Humor is often used and is closely related to everyday in life. Humor is also found in the literature. This refers to the statement that "literature is a reflection of life". This study aims to look how humor is used in literature and also what are the techniques and the cause of humor in literature. In addition, the author also look at the relationship between humor and popular literary works. At the end of this novel belongs to the popular literary works contained some traits such as proposed by Kaplan. This novel also contains an element of humor when viewed from the technique and the cause of humor.
