[ABSTRAK Infeksi menular seksual merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan perempuan yangberdampak besar terhadap kesehatan reproduksi. Perempuan dituntut untukmenjaga kebersihan diri khususnya kebersihan genitalia sebagai alat reproduksiutama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pendidikankesehatan kebersihan diri terhadap tanda dan gejala IMS. Penelitian inimenggunakan disain eksperimen semu. Teknik pengambilan sampelmenggunakan konsekutif pada 84 responden yang terbagi dalam kelompokkontrol dan intervensi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner tanda dangejala IMS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan kesehatan mengurangitanda dan gejala infeksi menular seksual (p = 0,008). Pemberian pendidikankesehatan direkomendasikan di pelayanan kesehatan untuk meningkatkankesehatan reproduksi perempuan.
