Artikel ini membahas tema cinta pada karya sastra abad 19, khususnya perselingkuhan tokoh utama pada drama komedi La Jalousie karya Sacha Guitry. Drama ini diangkat dari kehidupan nyata masyarakat Prancis abad-19. Perselingkuhan yang terjadi diakibatkan oleh kecemburuan sang suami yang diduga menjadi penyebab konflik cinta antartokoh. Analisis yang dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran konflik cinta yang terjadi, yakni melalui alur, tokoh, hubungan antartokoh, latar, dan tema dalam drama
ABSTRACT This article discusses about the theme of love in French literature of the 19th century, particularly about love affair of the main character in La Jalousie, written by Sacha Guitry. This drama is based on real life in the 19th century. An affair that happened because of the husband?s jealousy is suspected to be the cause of the conflict between characters.
