Abstract
Sebanyak 194 mahasiswa The University of Queensland menyelesaikan kuesioner secara online di waktu senggang mereka. A newly developed measure of obsessive-compulsive behavior (OCB) is presented, as well as the calculation of its validation and reliability. A total of 194 students of The University of Queensland completed online questionnaires on their free time. There was found that the reliability of OCB scale was reasonably good and the computation of Item Discrimination Indices showed which items were best and worst. It demonstrates that the new OCB scale is positively correlated with all three other scales of obsessive-compulsive inventory-revised (OCI-R) proposed by Foa et al. (2002), the IPIP (International Personality Item Pool) neuroticism developed by Goldberg et al. (2006), and the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS) suggested by Heimberg et al. (1999). For future research, it is recommended that the scale may be expanded to cover all aspect of OCB so that it can be used in detecting OCB in university students., A newly developed measure of obsessive-compulsive behavior (OCB) is presented, as well as the calculation of its validation and reliability.
