Ragam bahasa yang digunakan pada situs jejaring sosial Twitter disesuaikan dengan keadaan dan tujuan dari masing-masing pengguna, baik individu maupun kelompok. Campur kode sering digunakan oleh pengguna Twitter yang menguasai dua bahasa atau lebih. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai kata-kata bahasa Inggris yang muncul dan penggunaannya pada Twitter @MEIDENmagazine. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Dari penelitian ini campur kode pada Twitter @MEIDENmagazine banyak ditemukan dalam bentuk kata dan termasuk ke dalam kelas kata sifat, interjeksi dan nomina. Kata bahasa Inggris yang digunakan kebanyakan digunakan di awal dan akhir kalimat.ABSTRACT Language variation used in social networking site Twitter is adapted based on the situation and purpose of each user, whether it is individual or group. Code mixing is often used by twitter users who are fluent in two languages or more. This research discusses the usage of English words on Twitter account @MEIDENmagazine by using the descriptive method. In this study found that usage of code mixing are frequently apparent in @MEIDENmagazine twitter in the form of words and classified as adjectives, interjections, and nouns.
