[ABSTRAK Musik di negara Lebanon berkembang seiring perkembangan zaman. Sebelum dijajah oleh bangsa Perancis, Lebanon bergenre musik tradisional timur-tengah seperti musik di bangsa-bangsa timur tengah pada umumnya. Setelah dijajah oleh bangsa Perancis, terjadi modernisasi pada genre musik di Lebanon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pustaka.ABSTRACT Music in Lebanon is developing over the times. Before it was colonized by the French, Lebanese traditional music genre east-central like music in middle eastern nations in general.
