Abstrak
[ABSTRAK
Hipoglikemia merupakan komplikasi akut pada diabetes melitus. Hipoglikemia berdampak serius pada kualitas hidup, morbiditas dan mortalitas manusia. Karya Ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan praktik asuhan keperawatan penatalaksanaan hipoglikemia pada diabetes melitus tipe 2 yang disertai dengan penyakit kanker payudara di Ruang Rawat IPD Lantai 5 Selatan RSUP Fatmawati. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan studi kasus melalui observasi, wawancara dan partisipatif. Implementasi yang sudah dilakukan terutama dalam mengatasi keadaan hipoglikemia agar tidak berulang dan menimbulkan komplikasi, antara lain; mengobservasi keadaan umum dan mengukur tanda-tanda vital klien, mengkaji keluhan yang dirasakan klien, memberikan glukosa peroral dan mengontrol kadar gula darah serta memberikan terapi sesuai instruksi penatalaksanaan hipoglikemia. Hasil dari penerapan intervensi ini diharapkan, klien dengan Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 juga mampu melakukan kontrol gula darah secara teratur untuk mencegah terjadi hipoglikemia berulang.
ABSTRACT
Hypoglycemia is the acute complications in diabetes mellitus. Hypoglycemia is a serious impact on quality of life, morbidity and mortality of human being. Scientific Paper aims to analyze the implementation of nursing care practice management of hypoglycaemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus accompanied with breast cancer in the Room, in Internal Medicine Ward, 5th South Floor Fatmawati Hospital. The data collection techniques with case studies through observation, interviews and participatory. Implementation has been done especially in addressing the situation in order not to repeat hypoglycemia and cause complications, among others; observe the general condition and measure the vital signs of clients, reviewing complaints from clients, provide oral glucose and controlling blood sugar levels and provide appropriate therapy instruction management of hypoglycemia. Results of the implementation of this intervention is expected, clients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is also able to control blood sugar regularly to prevent recurrent hypoglycemic events., Hypoglycemia is the acute complications in diabetes mellitus.
