[ABSTRAK Kesehatan jiwa merupakan salah satu komponen yang menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Mahasiswa adalah salah satu sumber daya manusia yang rentan mengalami gangguan kesehatan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase dan proporsi dari faktor sosiodemografi, faktor biologis, dan faktor sosiokultural pada klien mahasiswa Badan Konseling Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi Case-series. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh klien mahasiswa BKM UI yang melakukan konseling di tahun 2013-2014 dan didiagnosis mengalami gangguan kesehatan jiwa dan memiliki catatan konseling lengkap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, selama tahun 2013-2014, sebanyak 449 klien mengalami gangguan kesehatan jiwa, 49,4% klien berasal dari fakultas yang mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan sosial, 113 klien merupakan mahasiswa tahun akademik 2010, dan 90,87% dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor sosiokultural.ABSTRACT Mental health is one of components that determine the quality of human resources.
