[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pengembangan keuangan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi menggunakan kasus Indonesia dan data yang diperoleh dari Bank Indonesia dan menggunakan data kuartalan dari 2005-2014Dalam tulisan ini akan ditemukan pengembangan keuangan lebih terpengaruh dibandingkan dengan pembangunan non-keuangan. Dengan menggunakan STATA dan melalui beberapa metode menggunakan VAR (Vector Autoregressive) akan mengukur peran pengembangan keuangan. Pengembangan keuangan terdiri dari M1, tingkat inflasi, dan nilai tukar.
