This study discusses the formation of Arabic vocabulary terminology Mathematical be viewed from two perspectives, namely morphology and semantics. This research is a descriptive analysis that aims to identify the process of word formation and assorted shapes and semantic analysis in the vocabulary of Arabic terminology Mathematics. The data used as a corpus is the Dictionary of Mathematical Terms compiled by Qatar University and the English-Arabic Glossary Mathematics compiled The State Education Department, The University of the State of New York. Results of the study found that the vocabulary of Arabic terminology shaped Mathematics Arabization, derivation, combination of words, abbreviations and emblems of letters, eponymous, pluralization and preferences. In terms of semantics, vocabulary Arabic terminology Matematka formed by extension of meaning ( semantic extension ), translation ( calque ), and idiomatic meaning.This thesis is dealing with the forming of arabic vocabulary in Mathematics terminology viewed by morph semantics perspectives. The method of the research used here is descriptive analysis in order to know the process of forming, the forms and analysis of semantics of Arabic vocabulary in Mathematics term. The Dictionary of Mathematical Terms from Qatar University and the English-Arabic Mathematics Glossary from The state Education Department, The University of The State of New York are the best data used in this research. By this research I found that the vocabulary in Mathematics term can be in forms of arabicization, derivation, abbreviation, composite word (phrase), eponym, plural, and preference. In semantics perspectives, the Arabic vocabulary in Mathematics term can be in forms semantic extension, calque, and idiomatic form as well. |
