[ABSTRAK Kompetisi bisnis saat ini tidak lagi persaingan antar individu perusahaan namunsudah melibatkan dynamic supply dan jaringannya, sehingga pemasok ikutmemberikan peranan dalam kesuksesan suatu perusahaan dalam persaingan bisnis.Salah satu indikator peranan pemasok terletak pada kualitas bahan baku yangdipasok ke perusahaan, untuk itu memonitor dan meningkatkan kualitas bahan bakumenjadi hal yang penting untuk ikut menentukan performa perusahaan terutamaterhadap kualitas produk yang dihasilkan. Setiap perusahaan memiliki cara untukmeningkatkan kualitas bahan baku, salah satunya dengan menciptakan sistemmonitoring kualitas atau prosedur kerja yang dapat memastikan dan meningkatkankualitas bahan baku. Sistem monitoring kualitas yang diterapkan di T. X sebagaitempat penelitian belumcukup responsif dan belum mempertimbangkan sisi kritikalsuatu non conformity karena hanya dilihat dari sisi jumlah non conformity yang adadengan penanganan menggunakan Supplier Correction Action Request (SCAR)form untuk semua tipe non conformity, sedangkan untuk non conformity yangkritikal perlu menunggu keputusan manajemen. Dalam penelitian ini, dihasilkansistem monitoring kualitas berupa prosedur kerja yang lebih responsif denganmengklasifikasikan tipe non conformity berdasarkan tingkat kritikalnyamenggunakan pendekatan Total Quality Management (TQM). Penggunaanfishbone diagram, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), dan Quality FunctionDeployment (QFD) membuat hasil sistem monitoring kualitas yang berupaprosedur kerja menjadi lebih dapat dipercaya untukdapat meningkatkan efektifitaspenanganan non conformity bahan baku yang terjadi.
