Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan dan karakterisasi sampel Sn-xBi dan SnxBi-yAl sebanyak 10 sampel dengan variasi logam Bi dan Al dalam %berat yang berbeda menggunakan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Penentuan kapasitas panas sebagai fungsi temperatur Cp (T) dari material solder Sn-Bi dan Sn-Bi-Al menggunakan alat uji DSC pada rentang temperatur 30°C hingga 450oC dan laju 10 oC/menit. Hasil karakterisasi XRD selanjutnya diolah menggunakan aplikasi GSAS untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang struktur dan ukuran kristal, parameter kisi yang dimiliki terhadap pengaruh variasi Bi dan Al %berat, serta informasi lainnya yang dapat berpengaruh. Berdasarkan ukuran kristal pada paduan Sn-xBi diketahui bahwa semakin banyak penambahan logam Bi maka ukuran kristal Sn yang terbentuk akan semakin kecil.
ABSTRACT In this research, manufacture and characterization of samples Sn and Sn-xBi-yAL as many as 10 samples with metal variation% Bi and Al in different weight using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Determination of the heat capacity as a function of temperature Cp (T) of the solder material of Sn-Bi and Sn-Bi-Al using a DSC test at 30oC to 450°C temperature range and a rate of 10 °C/min. XRD characterization results further processed using GSAS application to obtain information about the structure and size of the crystal, the lattice parameter of the effect of variation owned Bi and Al% by weight, as well as other information that can be influential. Based on the size of the crystals in the alloy Sn-xBi known that the more the addition of the metal Bi Sn formed crystal size will be smaller.
