Indonesia sedang mengalami fenomena urbanisasi yang pesat pembangunan pada sektor industri pemicu terbesar dalam peningkatan urbanisasi Bertumbuhnya populasi urban sektor industri dan sektor rumah tangga akan meningkatkan konsumsi energi Selain itu dampak dari meningkatnya konsumsi energi akan menghasilkan emisi CO2 yang tinggi dimana akan berdampak pada lingkungan Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh antara urbanisasi terhadap konsumsi energi dan CO2 Penelitian ini menggunakan data periode 2008 sampai dengan 2012 dengan metode estimasi adalah data panel Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa urbanisasi memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap konsumsi BBM dan total konsumsi energi namun urbanisasi tidak signifikan terhadap konsumsi listrik dan emisi CO2 Populasi memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap konsumsi BBM konsumsi listrik dan total konsumsi energi serta emisi CO2 Sedangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap konsumsi BBM konsumsi listrik emisi CO2. Indonesia is experiencing the phenomenon of rapid urbanization development of the industrial sector is the biggest triggers in the increase of urbanization The growth of urban population the industrial sector and the household sector will increase energy consumption In addition the impact of rising energy consumption will produce high CO2 emissions which would have an impact on the environment The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of urbanization on energy consumption and CO2 This study uses data from 2008 to 2012 with the estimation method is a data panel The estimation results showed that the urbanization has a significant relation to fuel consumption and total energy consumption however urbanization no significant effect on electricity consumption and CO2 emissions The population has a significant relation to fuel consumption electricity consumption and total energy consumption and CO2 emissions While the economic growth has a significant relation to fuel consumption electricity consumption CO2 emissions. |
