Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi terhadap ekspor Intra-ASEAN-7 selama periode 2005-2013 dengan menggunakan metode estimasi fixed effect model (FEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel indeks akses teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi dan variabel indeks penggunaan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi dalam bisnis di negara eksportir dan negara importir, yang mana digunakan untuk melihat peranan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi, memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap ekspor Intra-ASEAN selama periode 2005 ? 2013. Variabel kontrol yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini seperti GDP, remoteness dan dummy crisis juga ditemukan berpengaruh terhadap ekspor Intra-ASEAN selama periode penelitian ini. This study attempted to identify the effects of information and telecommunications technology on exports performance of Intra-ASEAN-7 during the period 2005-2013 by using fixed effect model as the estimation model. The result showed that variable of access index to information and telecommunications technology and variable of business use index of information technology and telecommunications in the exporter and importer countries, which are being used to mitigate the role of information and telecommunications technology, have positive and significant impacts on export Intra-ASEAN during the period 2005-2013. In additon, control variables that being used in this study such as GDP, remoteness and the dummy crisis are also significantly influenced intra-ASEAN exports during the period of this study. |
