ABSTRAK Kemajuan perkembangan teknologi internet memberikan dampak terhadap perkembangan produk berita elektronik (e-news) saat ini. Internet menjadi sumber informasi yang paling banyak digunakan orang mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan, tak terkecuali mahasiswa. Sayangnya belum ada satu media yang membahas kehidupan mahasiswa Indonesia lintas kampus yang mengusung kepedulian mahasiswa. Ketertarikan akan mencari kebutuhan informasi mengenai kehidupan kampus di Indonesia diakui 92% mahasiswa. 76% mahasiswa juga mengaku pernah mengakses informasi selain informasi kampusnya sendiri. Minimnya media yang membahas isu-isu dunia mahasiswa Indonesia lintas kampus juga membuat responden merasa tertarik jika dibuat sebuah e-magazine dunia mahasiswa di Indonesia. ABSTRACT The development of internet affects the production of electronic news (e-news) nowadays. Internet becomes the most popular information source for people, especially college students. Currently, the medium that aims to examine university life among Indonesian college students across the nation has yet to exist. Based on the research on college students conducted by the writer, 92% of respondents are interested to seek information about nation-wide Indonesian campus life. 76% of them admitted to have browsed information about campuses other than their own. The lack of medium which talks about the world of Indonesian college students makes the respondent interested if such information is actualized in the form of an e-magazine. |
