Abstract
Cerpen Takasebune (????????) atau Perahu Takase?adalah sebuah cerpen bergenre sejarah buah karya Mori ?gai(??? ??????) pada tahun 1916. Di dalam cerpen ini ada adegan dimana tokoh adik laki-laki Kisuke melakukan tindak percobaan bunuh diri. Penelitian ini menganalisis latar belakang peristiwa tersebut terjadi. Ditinjau dari isi cerpen dengan mengaitkannya pada bidang ilmu sosiologi dan psikologi. Penulis juga mempertimbangkan unsur budaya sesuai latar zaman di dalam cerpen ini sebagai unsur intrinsik cerpen yang berpengaruh terhadap peristiwa tindak percobaan bunuh diri tersebut.
