Hubungan antara peer attachment dan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa sma kelas 12 = Relationship between peer attachment and career adaptability for 12th grader senior high school student

 Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara peer attachment dan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa SMA kelas 12. Pengukuran peer attachment dilakukan dengan alat ukur Inventory of Parental and Peer Attachment (IPPA) ? Revised Peer Version (Armsden & Greenberg, 2009). Untuk pengukuran adaptabilitas karir menggunakan modifikasi alat ukur Skala Adaptabilitas Karir oleh Indianti (2015). Partisipan berjumlah 272 dari siswa kelas 12 SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara peer attachment dan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa SMA kelas 12 (r=0,225 dan p=0,000, signifikan pada LoS 0.01). Artinya, semakin tinggi peer attachment seseorang semakin tinggi pula adaptabilitas karirnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penting bagi siswa SMA kelas 12 untuk memiliki adaptabilitas karir yang baik dalam memilih jurusan kuliah, dan bagaimana hubungan peer attachment dapat berpengaruh pada adaptabilitas karir siswa SMA kelas 12.

This research aimed to find the correlation between peer attachment and career adaptability among 12th grader senior high school students. Peer attachment was measured using the Inventory of Parental and Peer Attachment (IPPA) - Revised Peer Version, Armsden & Greenberg (2009). Career Adaptability was measured using modification from the Career Adaptability Scale by Indianti (2015). The participants of this research are 272 senior high school student grade 12th, both state and private school in Jakarta. The result of this research found that positive correlation between peer attachment and career adaptability among 12th grader senior high school student (r=0,225 and p=0,000, significant at LoS 0.01). The higher peer attachment of student, the more career adaptability they had. Based on this result, its important for 12th grader senior high school student to have a good career adaptability in order to choose and preparing the next level education, and how peer attachment relationship among students can effect career adaptability for 12th grader senior high school student.
