ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebudayaan masyarakat di beberapa negara terhadap pengambilan keputusan atas proporsi struktur modal yang dilakukan oleh manajemen perusahaan-perusahaan yang beroperasi di negara tersebut pada periode tahun 2014. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel hampir seluruh perusahaan di 27 negara. Penelitian ini menemukan adanya pengaruh dari dimensi budaya individualism secara positif terhadap proporsi modal. Sedangkan pengaruh dari dimensi budaya masculinity bersifat negatif terhadap proporsi modal.
