Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan intensitas penggunaan smartphone pada mahasiswa FIK UI angkatan 2012-2013 reguler. Variabel penelitian ini mencakup karakteristik responden, tingkat stres, dan intensitas penggunaan smartphone. Desain yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kategorik dan teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel ialah stratified random sampling. Peneliti mengambil data sebanyak 106 responden, data yang diambil juga sudah dicek kelengkapannya sehingga tidak ada yang missing.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan intensitas penggunaan smartphone pada mahasiswa FIK UI angkatan 2012-2013 reguler (p=0,877, ?=0,05). Tingkat stres yang mendominasi ialah tingkat stres tinggi (55,9%), namun intensitas penggunaan smartphone tinggi juga mendominasi (69%). Maka diharapkan adanya penelitian lanjutan yang menggunakan sampel tidak terbatas hanya kepada mahasiswa keperawatan saja.

The aim of this research was to describe the association between stress level and smartphone use intensity in college student in University of Indonesia, Nursing Faculty Reguler generation 2012 and 2013. Variable of this research include respondent characteristic, stres level, and smartphone use intensity. This research used descriptive category and technique that used to pick samples is stratified random sampling. Researcher took 106 people as respondents and the data also has been checked for completeness so that no missing data.
The results of this study showed no association between stress levels with the intensity of smartphone use in college student in University of Indonesia, Nursing Faculty Reguler generation 2012 and 2013 (p = 0.877, ? = 0.05). The stress level that dominates is a high stress level (55.9%), but higher intensity of use of smartphones also dominates (69%). It is expected that further research use the samples not limited only to nursing students.
