ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh siklus hidup perusahaan terhadapbiaya ekuitas. Penelitian ini juga menguji peran faktor moderasi tata kelolaperusahaan pada pengaruh siklus hidup perusahaan terhadap biaya ekuitas. Denganmenggunakan 217 sampel dari tahun 2010 ? 2013, ditemukan bukti bahwa biayaekuitas tahap growth, mature, dan decline lebih rendah secara signifikandibandingkan tahap shake out. Efektivitas fungsi pengawasan dewan komisarishanya terbukti memperkuat pengaruh negatif siklus hidup perusahaan terhadapbiaya ekuitas pada tahap growth dan mature. Adapun efektivitas fungsi pengawasankomite audit mampu memperkuat pengaruh negatif siklus hidup perusahaanterhadap biaya ekuitas pada seluruh siklus hidup perusahaan ABSTRACT This study is aimed to investigate the impact of corporate life cycle on cost ofequity. This study is also aimed to examine the role of corporate governance asmoderating variable on the impact of corporate life cycle on cost of equity. Using217 observations of listed firms in IDX from 2010 ? 2013, it is found that cost ofequity in growth, mature, and decline stage is significantly lower than shake outstage. The effectiveness of monitoring role by board of comissioner is provensignificantly strengthen the negative impact of corporate life cycle on cost of equityin growth and mature stages. In addition, The effectiveness of monitoring role byaudit commitee is proven significantly strengthen the negative impact of corporatelife cycle on cost of equity in all stages |
