ABSTRAK Pekerja industri sepatu informal berisiko terhadap dampak kesehatan akibatpajanan benzena yang terdapat dalam lem sepatu. Penelitian ini betujuanmendeskripsikan hubungan antara lama bekerja, jenis pekerjaan, dan penggunaanAPD dengan jumlah leukosit dan eritrosit pada pekerja industri sepatu informal diKecamatan Ciomas. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan respondensebanyak 259 pekerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapathubungan yang signifikan antara lama bekerja, jenis pekerjaan, dan penggunaanAPD dengan jumlah leukosit dan eritrosit dalam darah pada pekerja industri sepatuinformal di Kecamatan Ciomas. Namun terdapat perbedaan risiko pada kelompokpekerja yang dibagi berdasarkan variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen ABSTRACT Shoe industry workers are at risk for the health effects of exposure tobenzene that is contained in shoe glue. This study aims to describe the relationshipbetween length of work, type of work, and the use of PPE with leukocytes countand erythrocytes count in the informal shoe industry workers in Sub-DistrictCiomas. This study uses secondary data with respondents as many as 259 workers.The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship betweenlength of work, type of work, and the use of PPE with leukocytes count anderythrocytes count in the informal shoe industry workers in Sub-District Ciomas.However, there are risk differences in the groups of workers towards dependentvariables. |
