Abstract
Skripsi ini membahas tentang perbuatan melawan hukum atas tindakan medis yang dilakukan dokter terhadap pasien tanpa adanya informed consent sebelumnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian normatif dengan tipe deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah informed consent merupakan suatu proses yang satu kesatuan dan tidak dapat dipisahkan dan merupakan hal wajib dilakukan oleh dokter kepada pasien. Tindakan medis yang dilakukan oleh dokter tanpa adanya informed consent disebut sebagai perbuatan melawan hukum. Peneliti menyarankan dokter harus bertindak hati-hati dalam melakukan tindakan medis, rumah sakit harus selalu melakukan pengawasan kepada dokter, dan masyarakat supaya bersikap kritis terhadap pelayanan medis.

This thesis discusses the tort of a medical procedure perfomed on patients without their prior informed consent. This research is a normative research with descriptive type. The results of this research is informed consent is a process that is an intergral and inseparable and it is a compulsary to be given form doctor to the patien. Medical procedures perfomed by doctors without any informed consent is called a tort, except the medical procedures do in an emergency. Researchers suggest, doctor shoud be cautious in perfoming a medical procedure, the hospital managers should always supervise the doctors, and the public are expected to be critical of the medical service.
