Abstract
ABSTRAK
Masyarakat modern sering meragukan dirinya sebagai makhluk otonom karena merasa diatur, diawasi dan dilemahkan haknya oleh kekuasaan pemerintahan. Ketidaktahuan akan pemerintahan, birokrasi, dan hukum secara mendalam menjadi kekhawatiran bahkan ketakutan, karena sewaktu-waktu keterlibatan dalam peristiwa yang berkaitan dengan hal tersebut mungkin terjadi. Sebagaimana yang tergambar dalam karya adaptasi wahana novel grafis Franz Kafka, Der Process. Josef K. ditangkap tanpa diberitahu kesalahannya dan harus melalui berbagai peristiwa yang membuatnya bersentuhan dengan birokrasi peradilan yang menekan pribadinya dan menjerat kebebasannya. Citraan dan pemadatan cerita dalam wahana novel grafis ini membentuk wahana penceritaan yang lebih tajam akan kemuraman, keterasingan, dan keputusasaan ala Kafkaesk.
