Skripsi ini membahas penerapan jadwal retensi arsip pada prosedur pemusnahan arsip inaktif di bank BNI 46. Berdasarkan hasil data rekapitulasi pengiriman, peminjaman, pengambilan dan pemusnahan pada tahun 2011 dan 2012 pada saat pergantian kepemimpinan terlihat penurunan aktifitas pada unit kearsipan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian yang melihat masalah terhambatnya proses pemusnahan arsip inaktif berdasarkan acuan dari jadwal retensi arsip yang dimiliki oleh bank BNI 46. Salah satu solusinya adalah melihat dan menganalisa masalah pada prosedur pemusnahan berdasarkan jadwal retensi sehingga dapat terwujud pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif sesuai pedoman JRA yang ada.

The focus is about the application of retention records schedule in procedure of inactive archive destruction in bank BNI 46. Based on the results of recapitulation data, which is delivery, loaning, return and destruction from 2011 and 2012 while the turnover of the leadership shown a decrease for the activity in the archival unit .Therefore, conducted research that looks problem obstacle on the process of the destruction for inactive archieve based on the schedule of retention records of bank BNI 46. The solution is to look and analyze the obstacle problem in the destruction procedure based on the rules of retention records schedule.
