 Abstract
ABSTRAK
Anak dengan HIV mengonsumsi ARV seumur hidupnya dan beresiko mengalami ketidakpatuhan minum ARV. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktorfaktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan anak minum ARV. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatancross sectional dengan melibatkan 143 orangtua dan anak penderita HIV usia 0-18 tahun. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil analisis ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara variabelstatus pengasuh dengan anak, komunikasi layanan kesehatan, dukungan keluarga dan bimbingan informasi. Hasil analisis regresi logistik bahwa pendapatan (OR=2,9) dan dukungan keluarga (OR=3,9) sebagai faktor paling dominan mempengaruhi kepatuhan minum ARV. Perawat dan tenaga kesehatan bertanggung jawab mengidentifikasi serta mencegah terjadinya ketidakpatuhan minum ARV pada anak HIV dengan memberikan edukasi secara teratur.
ABSTRACT
Children with HIV must take ARV for their entire life which may cause disobidience in taking their medication. The objective of this research was to identify factors that related with adherence in taking ARV medication. This research used cross sectional approach with 143 respondents which where choosen with consecutive sampling technique. The result showed that child relationship with care giver, communication with health facilities, family support, and information have significant relation with child adherence in taking ARV medication. Parent?s salary (OR=2,9) and family support (OR=3,9) were the dominant factor influencing child adherence in taking ARV medication. Nurses and health workers are responsible to identify and prevent child?s disobidience in ARV medication by giving education.
