 Abstract
Aceh merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan tingkat rawan bencana yang sangat tinggi. Bencana tsunami 2004 silam telah menyebabkan hilangnya hutan pantai dan hutan mangrove di Provinsi Aceh. Hilangnya sumber daya ini memiliki dampak langsung terhadap kelangsungan hidup dari para korban tsunami yang selamat serta dampak lanjutannya. dibutuhkan suatu program konservasi yang bersifat kontinu dan edukatif melalui ranah pendidikan, dalam hal ini penerapan pendidikan kearifan lokal berbasis mangrove. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Lhokseumawe, Pantai Timur Aceh. Sebaran hutan mangrove dan sebaran sekolah yang membentuk pola spasial yang berbeda-beda dan tersebar di wilayah administrasi Kota Lhokseumawe menjadi acuan dalam penerapan pendidikan kearifan lokal berbasis mangrove. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode statistik pearson product moment. Dari jumlah keseluruhan sekolah tingkat menengah pertama di Kota Lhokseumawe yaitu sebanyak 41 Sekolah Negeri, Swasta dan Sekolah Agama, terdapat 31 sekolah yang diprioritaskan untuk dilaksanakan pendidikan kearifan lokal berbasis mangrove. Prioritas I sebanyak 18 sekolah, prioritas II sebanyak 10 sekolah dan prioritas III sebanyak 3 sekolah dengan standar kompetensi pembelajaran yang berbeda satu sama lain. ...... Aceh is one of the provinces with high level of hazard. Tsunami disaster in 2004 has caused the loss of coastal forests and mangroves in the Aceh province. The loss of these resources has a direct impact on the survival victims of the tsunami and subsequent impact. it takes a conservation program that is continuous and educative through the education, in this case the application of local wisdom education of mangrove. This research was conducted in Lhokseumawe city, Aceh East Coast. The distribution of mangrove forests and the spread of schools forming spatial patterns vary and spread in the administrative area of Lhokseumawe become a reference in the application of local wisdom education of mangrove. Data processing method performed by descriptive and quantitative method by pearson product moment statistic method. Of the total number of junior high schools in the city of Lhokseumawe as many as 41 Public Schools, Private and Religious School, there are 31 schools with priority for local wisdom education implemented mangrove. Priority I as many as 18 schools, 10 schools priority II and 3 school for priority with learning competency standards that differ from each other.
