ABSTRAK Osteoartritis merupakan jenis radang sendi atau osteoartritis pada orang dewasa. Keberhasilan terapi pada ostoartritis salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani program terapi yang telah disarankan oleh petugas kesehatan. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan daerah pegunungan memiliki ciri khas masyarakat dengan beban kerja berat yang merupakan risiko terjadinya osteoartritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam menjalani terapi pada pasien osteoartritis diwilayah pegunungan. Design pada penelitian ini adalah cross sectional yang melibatkan 71 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang memiliki hubungan dengan kepatuhan pasien untuk menjalani program terapi adalah tingkat pendidikan (p = 0.043) dan dukungan keluarga (p = 0.001). faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan kepatuhan adalah dukungan keluarga dengan nilai (OR = 11.407). Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengevaluasi pelayanan keperawatan serta bahan masukan untuk perencanaan strategi meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalani terapi ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis is a degenerative arthritis in which the cartilage begins to break down. Key success of ostoartritis therapy influenced by patient adherence in undergoing therapy program that has been recommended by a health care professional. Indonesia as an agricultural country, has a characteristic of society as a farmer with a load and a heavy work activity, a high risk of osteoarthritis. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the adherence to therapy in patients with osteoarthritis of the rural region. The method of this research is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design involving 71 respondents. Results showed factors that associate patient willing to undergo the program is education level (p = 0.043) and family supports (p = 0.001). The most associated factors is family supports, whoose values is OR = 11.407. These results are expected to evaluate nursing care services as well as an input for the planning strategies and improve patient willing to undergo the therapy program. |
