| Before the presence of Islam as a holy religion, the Arabs were known as adopting the belief of paganism and Jahiliyya' but they had striking faculty to portray life and nature in the_form of literary works, though in the absence of the value of 'Ilahiyah . Luterature in this era was not completely rejected by Islam but it was manipulated with the Islamic teaching and utilized in the mission to spread the Islamic religion. Literature which has been manipulated by the Quranic teaching is then called Islamic Literature. This article will discuss the characteristics of Islamic Literature. |
