ABSTRAK Penyakit Hepatitis B merupakan penyakit infeksi hati, disebabkan olehVirus Hepatitis B yang dapat ditularkan secara vertikal dan horizontal. MenurutWHO, Indonesia termasuk negara endemik sedang sampai tinggi, denganprevalensi 3%-20%. Program pemberian Imunisasi Hepatitis B pada bayi 0-7 harisangat efektif untuk mencegah transmisi vertikal dari ibu pengidap ke bayi yangdilahirkan. Di Pematangsiantar, hasil vaksinasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari masih sangatrendah (49,1% pada trimester III tahun 2010). Tujuan penelitian ini untukmengetahui peran pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterpaparan informasi ibu dalampemberian imunisasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari.Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu juru imunisasi dan bayi 0-1 bulan.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus kontrol, yang menjadi kasus adalah50 bayi yang tidak mendapat imunisasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari dan yang menjadikontrol adalah 50 bayi yang mendapat imunisasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari. Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tempat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, tempatpersalinan, keterpaparan informasi dan pengetahuan mempunyai hubungan yangbermakna terhadap status imunisasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari. Variabel yang palingdominan berhubungan dengan status imunisasi Hepatitis B 0-7 hari adalahketerpaparan informasi. Saran yang diberikan yaitu ditingkatkannya penyuluhanpada masyarakat akan pentingnya vaksinasi hepatitis B 0-7 hari pada bayi. ABSTRACT Hepatitis B is an infectious disease of the liver, caused by Hepatitis B Virus(HBV) which can be vertically and horizontally transmitted. According to WHO,Indonesia is an endemic country which has middle to high with its prevalencerange from 3%-20%. Hepatitis B Immunization’s program to infant age 0-7 daysis very effective to prevent the vertically transmission from mother who hadHepatitis B to her infant. At Pematangsiantar city, hepatitis B 0-7 daysvaccination is still low (49.1% at third trimester in 2010). The goals of this studyto know the role of knowledge, attitudes and mother’s information of exposure tostatus of immunization hepatitis B 0-7 days.The population of this study were health workers and baby 0-1 months.Descriptive and case-control design were used in this study, consisted 50 babieswere not having vaccination at the age 0-7 days as cases and 50 babies who hadvaccinated with hepatitis B at the age 0-7days as controls. The results of thisresearch indicate that education, mother’s working status, place of delivery,information of exposure and knowledge had strong relationship with the status ofimmunization of hepatitis B 0-7 days. The most dominant variable to the status ofthe immunization was the information of exposure. Dessimination of informationabout the importance of hepatitis B 0-7 days should be given to the community. |
