This paper aims to examine the performance measurement using the CSR Balanced Scorecard system in SMEs firms in Malaysia. It investigates the relationships of the four perspectives of CSRBalanced Scorecard system toward performance measurement. The purpose of this paper is to investigatewhether or not the improvement of the non-financial CSR measures will lead to the improvementof performance measures. To test these relationships, data were collected using the fourperspectives approach introduced by Utting (2007). The finding indicates that the organizationalbusiness performance can be greatly increased by putting greater emphasis to CSR measures. Theresults also reveal that the increases of firms customer?s satisfaction is caused by the increase implementationof CSR measurement. At the end of the article, the implications of this study for SMEindustries and some suggestions are discussed for future studies.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengukuran kinerja dengan menggunakan sistem CSR BalancedScorecard pada perusahaan-perusahaan UKM di Malaysia dengan menguji hubungankeempat perspektif sistem CSR Balanced Scorecard terhadap pengukuran kinerja. Peningkatanukuran-ukuran CSR non-finansial akan dikaji apakah dapat memberi pengaruh terhadap peningkatanukuran-ukuran kinerja. Untuk menguji hubungan tersebut, data dikumpulkan berdasarkanpendekatan empat perspektif yang diperkenalkan oleh Utting (2007). Temuan riset ini mengindikasikanbahwa kinerja bisnis organisasi dapat sangat ditingkatkan dengan memberikan penekananyang lebih pada ukuran-ukuran CSR. Selain itu, peningkatan implementasi pengukuran CSR jugameningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Implikasi dari hasil studi ini dan saran untuk industri UKMakan didiskusikan pada bagian akhir artikel. |
