ABSTRAK Skripsi ini membahas tentang perkembangan karakter dan proses hibriditas pada tokoh utama dalam roman Mooie Meisjesmond. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan perkembangan karakter tokoh utama pada masa pubertasnya dan mengidentifikasi proses hibriditas yang dialaminya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka yang diuraikan secara deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan ialah teori tokoh dan penokohan serta konsep hibriditas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tokoh utama digambarkan sebagai tokoh bulat yang mengalami perkembagan karakter dan sedang dalam proses mencari identitas hibridnya. ABSTRACT This thesis discusses the character development and the hybridity process of the main character in the novel Mooie Meisjesmond. The purpose of this study is to explain the development characters and to identify the hybridity process which are experienced by the main character. The method used in this research is study literature which described descriptively. The theories used are the theory of character and characterization also hybridity concept. The result showed that the main character is described as round character and in the process of searching for a hybrid identity. |
