ABSTRAK Persaingan olahraga merupakan fenomena yang sering terjadi di kehidupan suporter atau penggemar olahraga. Namun, adanya persaingan olahraga yang dipersepsikan oleh komunitas suporter dan mengaitkannya dengan keanggotaan di komunitas merupakan hal yang jarang diteliti di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha mencari tahu hubungan antara sense of community dan persepsi persaingan olahraga pada salah satu komunitas suporter di Indonesia, yaitu komunitas suporter Persija. Data diambil dari 154 partisipan. Peneliti menggunakan alat ukur Sense of Community Index-2 untuk mengukur sense of community Chavis, Lee Acosta, 2008 dan Sport Rivalry Fan Perception Scale untuk mengukur persepsi persaingan olahraga Havard, Gray, Gould, Sharp, Schaffer, 2013 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara sense of community dan persepsi persaingan olahraga pada komunitas suporter Persija. ABSTRACT Sports rivalry is a phenomenon that often occurs in supporter or sport fan rsquo s life. However, the existence of sport rivalry which perceived by sport supporter community and associate with membership in their community is barely studied in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find the relationship between sense of community and sport rivalry perception among one of sport supporter community in Indonesia, which is Persija supporter community. Data was taken from 154 participants. The writer used Sense of Community Index 2 for measuring sense of community Chavis, Lee Acosta, 2008 and Sport Rivalry Fan Perception Scale for measuring sport rivalry perception Havard, Gray, Gould, Sharp, Schaffer, 2013 . The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between sense of community and sport rivalry perception among member of Persija supporter community. |
