ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang ldquo;teman ahok rdquo; sebagai pelopor relawan muda yang memanfaatkan media sosial untuk mengkampanyekan segala kegiatan dan kinerja Gubenrur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok dan menyikapi permasalahan yang terjadi selama proses pencalonan terhadap Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok agar dapat maju dalam Pilgub DKI Jakarta Tahun 2017. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa ldquo;teman ahok rdquo; termasuk dalam kategori kepeloporan, hal tersebut sesuai dengan indikator yang dimiliki ldquo;teman ahok rdquo; dalam definisi kepeloporan menurut kemenpora.Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran yang cukup signifikan dalam sebuah gerakan sosial untuk mendorong perubahan sosial. Serupa dengan penelitian ini yang mencoba melihat pemanfaatan media sosial yang digunakan sebagai salah satu strategi dalam gerakan sosial dengan harapan akan mendorong terciptanya perubahan sosial. Dalam konteks penelitian ini, peneliti berusaha melihat sejauh mana penggunaan media sosial oleh ldquo;Teman Ahok rdquo; sebagai salah satu strategi untuk mengkampanyekan segala kegiatan dan kinerja Gubenrur DKI Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok untuk maju dalam Pemilihan Gubernur dan wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta Tahun 2017. ABSTRACT This study describes the Ahok rsquo s Supporters that are called Teman Ahok Ahok rsquo s Friends as pioneers of young volunteers who use social media to campaign all the activities and performance ofthe Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok and for addressing the problems that occur during the nomination process to Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok in order to advance in election of Governor DKI Jakarta in 2017. This study is a qualitative research with descriptive design. The results of this study also show that the Teman Ahok is included in the category of pioneering.It is in line with indicators that belong to Teman Ahok in the definition of pioneering according toThe Ministry of Youth and Sports Kemenpora . The results of this study also show that social media has a significant role in a social movement to encourage a social change. Similar to this study that tries to see the use of social media which is used as a strategy in the social movements in the hope of encouraging the creation of social change. In the context of this study, the researcher tried to see the extent to which the use of social media by the Friends Ahok is a strategy to campaign all the activities and performance of the Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama Ahok to advance in the election of Governor and Vice Governor of the Jakarta in 2017. |
