Abstrak
ABSTRAK
Artikel ini membahas mengenai gambaran homoseksualitas di Tunisia yang direpresentasikan dalam film Le Fil sebagai homoseksual yang tertutup dan homoseksual yang terbuka. Selain itu, dibahas juga tentang stereotip yang dilatarbelakangi oleh agama dan masyarakat homofobia yang cenderung negatif. Analisis di dalam artikel ini menggunakan teori representasi dan kajian sinema. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa representasi homoseksual tertutup lebih dominan dibandingkan dengan representasi homoseksual terbuka.
ABSTRACT
This article discusses the depiction of homosexuality in Tunisia which is represented in the film Le Fil as the closet and the open homosexuals. Moreover, this article also discusses about stereotype which is motivated by religion and homophobia society that tends to be negative. The analysis in this article based on the theory of representation and cinematographic approach. Results of the analysis showed that the representation of the closet homosexuals are more dominant than the representation of the open homosexuals.
