Abstract
Alih kode dan campur kode merupakan istilah umum untuk menyebut pergantian pemakaian dua bahasa atau lebih. Penelitian ini akan membahas penggunaan campur kode berbahasa Indonesia dalam tayangan televisi berbahasa Belanda The Late Late Lien Show episode ldquo;De Verhuizing rdquo;. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menyaksikan tayangan tersebut kemudian menganalisis campur kode yang muncul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan gejala-gejala campur kode yang terjadi serta menjelaskan tujuan penggunaanya. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat penggunaan campur kode yang digunakan untuk tujuan berbeda-beda.
Code mixing and code switching are the general terms to refer to mixing two or more languages. This research examines the use of Indonesian code mixing on Dutch television program The Late Late Lien Show episode De Verhuizing . The method used in this research was the descriptive qualitative, by watching the whole show then analyzing every code mixing that occured. The goal of this research is to explain symptoms of code mixing, along with explaining the purpose. The result of this research proves that code mixing might apply for various purposes.
