Pemerintah Indonesia menargetkan cakupan pemberian air susu ibu (ASI)eksklusif sekitar 80%, tetapi hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2010 me-nunjukkan cakupan ASI eksklusif baru mencapai 15,3%. Dari tahun ke tahun,prevalensi pemberian ASI eksklusif cenderung menurun dengan berbagaialasan, antara lain ibu pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiproporsi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu pekerja. Rancangan penelitian yangdipakai adalah potong lintang pada data primer yang terdiri dari 120 responden.Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2012 menggunakan kuesioner yang diisisendiri oleh responden. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis univariat,analisis bivariat menggunakan kai kuadrat, dan analisis multivariat mengguna-kan regresi logistik ganda model prediksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pro-porsi pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja di Kementerian Kesehatansebesar 62,5%, lebih rendah dari target nasional (80%). Alasan respondenberhenti menyusui eksklusif bukan karena bekerja melainkan karena ASIsedikit. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif padapenelitian ini adalah sikap, ketersediaan fasilitas dan dukungan pengasuh.Variabel sikap merupakan faktor paling dominan dalam pemberian ASIeksklusif. Ibu pekerja yang mempunyai sikap mendukung berpeluang 5 kalimemberikan ASI eksklusif dibandingkan dengan ibu yang mempunyai sikapkurang mendukung.Government of Indonesia has a target of 80% exclusive breastfeeding cover-age. One of the reasons is exclusive breastfeedingon working mothers. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of exclusivebreastfeeding on the working mothers in the Ministry of Health. The study de-sign used was cross sectional on the primary data consisted of 120 respon-dents. The study was conducted on May 2012 using self-administered ques-tionnaire by respondents. Data analysis was performed by univariate,bivariate analysis using chi-square, and multivariate analysis using multiplelogistic regression prediction model.The results showed the proportion ofexclusive breastfeeding on working mothers in Ministry of Health is 62.5%,lower than the national target (80%). Working is not a reason of respondentsto stop breastfeeding is not because of insufficient breastfeeding supply.Factors associated with this behavior are the attitude, the availability of facili-ties and support of baby-sitter. Variable of attitude is the most dominant factorin exclusive breastfeeding. Working mothers having positiveness likely 5 timesgive exclusive breatfeeding compared with mother having negative attitude. |
