ABSTRAK Air Susu lbu (ASI) sudah diketahui banyak manfaatnya tetapi pemberian ASImasih menjadi masalah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dukungansosial dan mutivasi dalam memberikan ASI. Desain penelitian ini adalahdeskriptif analisis mengguakan pendekatan potong lintang atau cross sectional.Teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan non probability sampling dengan jenispurposive sampling dengan jumlah sample 43 responden. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan ada hubungan dukungan sosial dengan motivasi ibu dalammemberikan ASI pada BBLR (p<0,05). Suami sebagai pemberi dukungan utamadan keluarga perlu diberikan edukasi terkait pentingngya ASI agar motivasi ibumenyusui untuk memberikan ASI. Disarankan agar dukungan sosial dapatdijadikan sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan untuk meningkatkan programpemberian ASI pada bayi. ABSTRACT Breast milk (breast milk) has been known for many benefits, but breastfeeding isstill a problem. The purpose of this study was to identify social support andmotivation in breastfeeding. The design of this study is descriptive analysis usingcross sectional or cross sectional approach. Sampling technique with nonprobability sampling with the type of purposive sampling with a sample of 43respondents. The results showed there was a relationship of social support withthe mother's motivation in giving breast milk to LBW (p <0,05). The husband asthe main supporter and the family should be given education related to theimportance of breast milk to motivate the breastfeeding moth;:;r to breastfeed. It isrecommended that social support can be used as one of the nursing interventionsto improve breastfeeding programs in infants. |
