ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berisi tentang kajian mengenai apakah arsitektur masih berperan dalam proses wayfinding oleh pengemudi transportasi online dan sejauh apa peran arsitektur dalam proses wayfinding oleh pengemudi transportasi online. Pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan dengan cara mengalami langsung dan mengamati proses wayfinding yang dilakukan oleh pengemudi transportasi online. Dan juga menganalisis perbandingan penggunaan cognitive maps dan GPS navigasi dalam memecahkan masalah wayfinding task oleh pengemudi transportasi online. Dari analisis studi kasus didapatkan bahwa dalam pengoperasiannya, pengemudi transportasi online lebih sering mendapatkan wayfinding task pada familiar environment. Dan dalam familiar environment, cognitive maps lebih banyak digunakan dibandingkan dengan GPS navigasi sebagai solusi pemecah masalah dalam proses wayfinding. Pernyataan ini membuktikan, bahwa arsitektur masih berperan dalam proses wayfinding yang dilakukan oleh pengemudi transportasi online. Sebab arsitektur yang berupa elemen kota seperti paths, edges, districts, nodes, dan landmarks dapat membentuk citra lingkungan yang akan dipakai sebagai komponen penyusun cognitive maps pada mental manusia. ABSTRACT This study investigates about the study of whether the architecture still plays a role in the wayfinding process by the driver of online transportion and how far the role of architecture in wayfinding process by the driver of online transportation. The writer rsquo s approach on the case study is carried out by experiencing directly and observing the wayfinding process, done by online transportion rsquo s drivers. And also analyzed the comparison of the use of cognitive maps and GPS navigation in solving the wayfinding task problem by online transportation rsquo s drivers. From the case study analysis, it is found that in the operation, the driver of online transportion more often get wayfinding task in the familiar environment. And in the familiar environment, cognitive maps are more widely used than GPS navigation as a troubleshooter in the wayfinding process. This statement proves that architecture still plays a role in the wayfinding process by online transportation rsquo s drivers. Because the architecture of urban elements such as paths, edges, districts, nodes, and landmarks can form the environmental image that will be used as components of the cognitive maps of human mental. |
