Abstract
Kabupaten Bandung Barat merupakan kabupaten yang memiliki potensi serta daya tarik yang tinggi terhadap pariwisata. Salah satu cara mengetahui potensi serta daya tarik tersebut yaitu berupa pengembangan pariwisata dengan cara mengklasifikasi tipologi objek wisata, variasi spasial wisatawan, dan mengetahui korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran mengenai fungsi objek wisata sebagai destinasi serta memperoleh tingkat daya tarik objek wisata. Analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah analisis spasial dan analisis statistik dengan uji chi-square.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tipologi objek wisata berdasarkan jenis fasilitas wisata sebagian besar adalah tipologi objek wisata ideal yang memusat di Kecamatan Lembang. Variasi spasial wisatawan didominasi oleh nilai masing-masing unsur variasi yang dominan, yaitu jumlah wisatawan yang sedang, physical or physiological motivation, dan individual mass touris yang memusat di Kecamatan Lembang. Terdapat hubungan antara kedua variabel, yaitu nilai masing-masing unsur variasi yang dominan melekat pada tipologi objek wisata cukup ideal.

Bandung Barat Regency is a district that has a high tourism potential and attractiveness. One way to explore the potential and attractiveness is development of tourism by classifying the typology of tourist attractions, spatial variations of tourists, and the correlation between the two variables. This study aims to determine the function of a tourist object as a destination and to obtain the level of a tourist attraction. The analysis used to answer the purposes of this study is descriptive spatial analysis and statistical analysis with chi square test.
The results of this study indicate that the typology of tourist attractions based on the type of tourism facilities is dominated by typology ideal centered in the District of Lembang. The spatial variation of tourists is dominated by the characteristic value of each element of the dominant, which are medium number of tourists, physical or physiological motivation, and individual mass touris centered in Lembang District. There is relationship between the two variables in which the value of each element of the dominant variation attached to the typology of the tourist attraction is quite ideal.
