Abstract
ABSTRACT
There have been quite a lot of studies about child stunting in Indonesia, yet based on author rsquo s knowledge, none of it discussing about the association between social capital and child stunting. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of social capital on children aged 0 5 years experiencing stunting in Indonesia. This is a cross sectional study with secondary data analysis using logistic regression of wave 5 2014 of the Indonesian Family Life Survey. This study found that social capital in the form of community participation and trust are significantly associated with child stunting.

Sudah cukup banyak penelitian tentang child stunting di Indonesia. Namun, berdasarkan pengetahuan penulis, belum ada yang membahas hubungan antara modal sosial dan child stunting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti peran modal sosial pada anak usia 0-5 tahun yang mengalami stunting di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan cross-sectional dengan analisis data sekunder menggunakan regresi logistik dari Survei Aspek Kehidupan Rumah Tangga SAKERTI gelombang 5 2014 . Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa modal sosial dalam bentuk partisipasi di komunitas dan kepercayaan secara signifikan berkaitan dengan child stunting.
